Three changes in iTunes 10 that I think are improvements.

  1. Very minor but the check boxes are a bit more subtle.
  2. The icon is better. It’s not a great icon, but the previous one was shit. This is a big improvement.
  3. Just noticed this one. The icons on the sidebar used to be coloured in. Now that they’re grayscale colouring in the rental icon red to show it’s expiring shows up really clearly.

Okay, I can’t end this post without mentioning those close (red), minimise (yellow) and er randomise (green buttons). Apple loves to break their UI patterns in iTunes. I understand they wanted to be able to chop the pointless title bar off the screen, but this is a shoddy way of making them fit.
